Problem is a situation in which we’re faced with an initial state, a goal state, a set of rules that must be followed, and a set of obstacles that must be overcome. The process of problem-solving involves in moving from an initial state to a goal slate, in the face of constraints that must be observed and obstacles that must be overcome.
We are all faced with problems in our daily lives in academics, at work in everyday life. As a college student, that takes 15-18 credit semesters. Time management is a critical problem in my daily life. At times, it seems impossible to stay on top of everything. Procrastination is a common problem I face If there is one thing all students can relate to, it’s there seems to never be enough time in the day to complete the massive amount of school work one has to do.
In actuality, if we’re talking about time, the reality is that there is never enough time for anything at all. Time is something you can lose and never get back. I’m always wishing I had more hours in the day. Every moment of every day is accounted for, down to the second. I get up, go to work for 4 to 8 hours, attended class, get home begin on the massive amount of reading and homework, then write 4 essays, take several quizzes, read more and study all night for exams. Sometimes it feels like I don’t even have time to eat, between my work hours, making it to class and actually studying for school, so I don’t fail, simple things like eating and sleeping become nearly impossible.
The solution to my critical problem is prioritizing and taking things one step at a time while overcoming my tasks, I began solving my problem by focusing on the things I want to achieve the most, then formulate a plan to guide me on the right path of achieving my goals. Problems can give the opportunities that allow you to see things differently like managing one’s time can be the essential to success. Organizing your time adequately can make the ultimate difference when you organize your day and weeks beforehand it can help get extra done with limited stress.
The target is to achieve control over time, rather than letting it contain you. Over the years as a college student I’ve learned that when you wisely manage your time, it will help make certain that you will be able to do both things you have to do and the things you want to do. What worked best for me was keeping a planner and marking my main priorities down. In my calendar, I made sure to block off time for studying, time for work, I also marked down my lesser priority, such as exercise, socializing and time for relaxing.
My mindset is my mental setting of thinking I noticed when I had a plan it allowed me to have a positive mindset. Using an easier method like keeping a planner helped me solve my problem more effectively. Keeping a planner helped me stay in control of my emotions, regardless of the events around you. Writing down what I needed to accomplish each week inspired me, reduced my stress and I was able to direct my focus on one task rather than feeling overloaded. Writing down my tasks gave me the motivation and insight I need to solve my problems.
