A decentralized e-voting system, to be acceptable by any democratic body of authority, must possess the features of perfect accuracy, auditability, immutability and confidentiality. To administer the stern rules governing an election while maintaining the above features, in this paper, I propose a decentralized e-voting system based on the Ethereum Blockchain as a secure transaction database. Casted ballots in this system are verifiable from the beginning to the end while maintaining the immutability to frauds and confidentiality of the voter. Any interested party is able to audit the process at any given point. The Ethereum Blockchain system facilitates all these features and hence indisputably appropriate for a decentralized e-voting system.
