Exceptional drought
What is "exceptional?" Out of the ordinary, outstanding, wonderful, unusual? When it comes to this drought, the only way I can consider it to be exceptional is that it will pass at some point. Tomato plants and fruits withered, crunchy groundcover, harsh cracks in the blackland. I must look at these reminders of another garden year for solace.
